I’m really encouraged by this. A month ago I thought I was tone deaf, but today I got 15 out of 20, and I got all the ones with flat notes right. Now I see myself differently.

I LOVE this video! The more I watch it the better I understand it. I have printed some plain staff paper & we are going to try some of your examples with rhythm sticks & such. We’re home schooling our 8 y/o grandson, Music & Art were “keeping me up at night” wondering HOW am I going to teach these? Although I can play the piano, it has been years since I have read music. Please keep the videos coming, the way you teach & explain is excellent! Thank you SO much & take good care.
Thank you so much! I always played with 4/4 and 3/4 pieces but never 6/8. I never understood them completely but you helped me soooooo much! Playing 6/8 pieces will be very easy with your help! Keep up the good work!
I can’t thank you enough! I’ll have to keep practicing this certain piece, but I knew beforehand that I have trouble with 6/8 and I really need to impress my band instructor! My piece is very fast and is also in 6/8! AH hahahah so thank you for the help!!!
THANK YOU I HAVE A SEMI-FINAL ON THIS IN A MONTH AND THE WAY MY CHOIR TEACHER EXPLAINED IT WAS REALLY CONFUSING. YOU JUST SAVED MY GRADE.
THANK YOU SO much for this video. I am a college student taking a Fundamentals of Music course, and I did not understand the professor’s explanation of this material at all, but I understood completely when I watched your video. This was a huge help for both my midterm exam and my final exam for the semester!
I have had challenges with sightsinging for years, because I hear music and don’t “see” it. This is a great way of learning to memorize notes.
This helped a lot! I’m taking my sight singing test to get into a higher level chorus class tomorrow and I now feel much more confident. I wish the test would be this easy.
Very useful for some one like me whose always had a mental block with sight-singing despite being able to read rhythms fairly easily. Thanks.
you are amazin at what you do keep this up..This is worth hundreds of dollards at Berklee where I am applying to !!! 🙂
wow this was really helpful for me! as an intermediate instrumentalist I didn’t know how reading vocal music really worked so I tried figuring it out on my own. But this really makes sense now!
Thank you, I started taking piano lessons 6 months ago and have been struggling with learning to read the notes. My teacher showed me the acronyms but did not explain it. I am a visual learner and your wonderful video visuals and simple explanation helped me so much. I get it!!!
Its really good. Thanks for the well arranged lessons.Keep it up and give us more.
True what they say u r the best teacher ever..I learned a lot from all you videos… Blessings..
